5 Effective Work Habits For Fresh Graduates

5 Effective Work Habits For Fresh Graduates
Being new in the working world, I am sure you are eager to show off your newfound skills and knowledge. However, out there in the working world some basic work effective habits can increase your productivity. By being consistently effective at your work increases your chances of success in your career.

The 5 effective work habits are

1. Volunteer for Assignments

One of the best ways to signal that you are a keen learner and are not afraid of hard work is to volunteer for assignments. Especially assignments that no one seems interested to do. However, before that do assess your own skills and knowledge to see if you can confidently accomplish it. If you are confident in completing the task in full and perfection, go ahead and volunteer for it. However, do remember one thing. Under promise and over deliver on the assignment you volunteered. Do not be too confident that you turn a perfect opportunity into mess. Once you start the project, see it till the end. You would be seen as someone who is courageous enough to take on additional assignments. You would also be seen as someone who follows through in your work. This is the first habit you need to internalize.

2. Be Nice to People

I am sure we have all heard this often enough. Be nice to people regardless of their rank and designation. It sounds philosophical but when you are nice to people they go out of their way to help you. And being new in an organization you would never know what sort of help you would need. Colleagues often like to work with nice talented people. When you have this effective work habit you increase the chances of people wanting you to work on their team.

Being nice to people is just common courtesy. There is nothing extra ordinary about this particular habit that you need special skills. A smile in the morning and a "Good Morning" is a good start. In this day and age, people working in pressurized environments often use stress as an excuse when they blow up. Is this necessary? Nice is often reciprocated by nice. In fact, it can lower your stress level.

3. Prioritize Your Work

We all love to start work on things that are close to our hearts. However, often these may not be the most urgent and important in our list of tasks in the workplace. When you select things you are more interested in rather than work that is more important or urgent, you lower your chances of success.

Have a list of things to do according to its strategic importance to your company. Know your role in completing the tasks at hand in order to achieve that corporate goal. When you prioritize your work, you are more productive and that increases your chances of career success.

4. Stay Positive

As someone new in the working world it is very easy to feel down because you are new. You are not used to the work system. You have new people to deal with and people in the working world who behave very differently from school. It takes a lot of getting used to. There will be office politics to deal with regardless of how little.

Be above all these and stay positive in the face of challenges. When you are positive you remain focused on your goals. You make better decisions and therefore become more productive.

5. Highlight a Problem but Bring Solutions

The last effective work habit of the five effective work habits is to bring solutions each time you highlight a problem to your boss or management. You need to remember that when you bring problems and not solutions, it is often construed as complaining.

To avoid that label, offer solutions. A range of possible solutions also indicates to your boss that you have thought this through before approaching him/her with a problem. Have in mind a recommended solution amongst those you suggested.

These are the 5 effective work habits I constantly drill into new employees who are fresh graduates in our company. At first glance, these may seem like common sense. However, in actual working environment people tend to sometimes forget these very basic effective work habits, and don't practice them often enough. Internalize these and consistently practice them to increase your chances of success.

Coating Options For Postcard Printing

Coating Options For Postcard Printing
You may have noticed different effects when light reflects on various paper surfaces. Some have a light sheen, some intense and others dull. Others still look plain. This is because certain substances are applied to them, or they could have been subjected to various treatments to enhance their physical features. These are called coatings, and they come with different properties to give printouts a more appealing look. Coated paper can be used for postcard printing.

Coatings may be utilized for different reasons actually. For some, it is for the smooth finish it gives the paper while others opt for it because of the protection it provides the prints from water and fade. Choice of coating depends on the effect you want, as well as the budget you have and the paper you are using.

Coatings for postcard printing

Postcards are commonly printed on sturdy card stock materials. These thick sheets can hold common coating options made available by paper companies. Included in the coatings are aqueous solutions, varnish and ultraviolet (UV) coatings. Here is a closer look at the said coating types:

1. Varnish

Varnish, like that which is used for wood, is applied to the surface of paper to provide gloss. It also protects the prints from dust and water although it does not give the same quality of protection as other coatings such as aqueous solution. Varnish, however, costs less.

It can also be used a means to highlight a specific element in a design by adding sheen to certain parts of an image. Another use of varnish is giving a tinted translucent gloss which is achieved by mixing it with colors.

2. Aqueous solution

In the case of aqueous solutions, they give a considerable extent of protection to papers and print from dust, scratch and water. It offers more gloss to paper than varnish but not as much as UV cured coats. This coating is also available in matte which, in turn, gives off a flat satin finish for a subdued effect.

Aside from higher cost, aqueous solutions have the disadvantage of imprinting limitations. There are also pens that cannot write on the coated paper.

If paper coated with this solution is exposed to very high temperatures, there is a risk that the sheets would stick to each other.

3. UV coating

UV coating is done by exposing the coated paper to ultraviolet light, a process called curing.

This gives out the most intense sheen among the three. So intense that once the UV coated paper is placed directly below light, the light is reflected and the printed image cannot be seen. However, when they are moderately lit, printed images look very vibrant. It also offers the most protection. It makes the print resistant to fade and water, as well as scratches.

Like aqueous solutions, UV coating does not allow imprinting and pen markings on the coated surface.

Contact your printer to inquire about your coating options for printing and ask for samples so you can have a guide for your future postcard printing projects.

Coach Training Course Do You Make This Online Business Building Mistake In Your Coaching Business?

Coach Training Course Do You Make This Online Business Building Mistake In Your Coaching Business?
The biggest mistake I have made in building my coaching business using online marketing is to not create enough content for my marketplace.

Does your client have enough information available from your blog, your articles which hopefully can be found in various places online and in regular emails from you to make an informed decision as to your level of expertise so they can hire you as a coach or purchase your products online? Have you given your prospects enough information to decide that they know, like and trust you?

This year I committed to publishing more articles every time I publish an article I get between 10 and 25 new subscribers to my email list.

Recently I decided to post to my blog daily and 2 3 times a day if possible. My RSS feed subscribers has increased SEVEN TIMES what it was two weeks ago.

I am not the only one who has noticed that consistent creation of content goes hand in hand with successful online marketing. Terry Dean, a pioneer of many of the current Internet Marketing Strategies posted about what he has observed in his most successful clients. In his short video he says that his most successful clients produce regular content that is in someway unique in their market.

Perry Marshall, another pioneer of Internet Marketing Strategies, recently posted about the constant drip process of marketing via email. He gives an excellent word picture of how over many years the tiny force of a drip of water could create the Grand Canyon, making the point that by regularly sharing content with your market place carves deep grooves in your marketplace. It leaves permanent, indelible marks. Perry further makes the point that well written email autoresponders over the long haul will turn prospects from cold to warm to hot.

Here s another word picture that you might relate to...

This weekend I started working out (again) at a gym just across the field from my beautiful Montana home. My sister is a personal trainer and looks like a million bucks. She tells me that if I follow her simple plan for weights and cardio, that I too, will look like a million bucks and all of my friends will notice my results in just six short weeks. Since Friday I have run three miles, not once but twice a day, in addition to various weight lifting exercises. Yet when I look in the mirror 3 days later I don t look any different.

If you know any thing about physical exercise and the human body, you know, like my sister does, that this is going to take a bit longer than three days of working out. And, if I work out for a few days and then take a week off, I m not going to make much impact on my muscles and the shape of my body.

It is the same with establishing yourself as an expert on the Internet to build your coaching business. You must commit to creating regular installments of your expertise for your ideal prospect to discover the wealth of wisdom.

The more you share in articles, blog posts, Internet radio shows, teleclasses, etc the easier it will be to not only create but more importantly to sell your products and your coaching. Every article, every post, shared not only in your own blog or article account, but even as a guest post or article your message is spread far and wide. Even better is when your prospect has accepted your invitation to accept your free report or audio, in exchange for permission to contact them by email. That is the beginning of trust in your marketing efforts.

Each piece of content you create works to create a place in your prospects heart and mind, moving them closer to becoming a life long customer, and client.

I can say honestly that any time I have seen a lull in my own business it has been because I have slowed down my content distribution. In my opinion, that is my number one mistake and this mistake is one that I see is common to many other coaches.

Does your client have enough information available from your blog, your articles which hopefully can be found in various places online and in regular emails from you to make an informed decision as to your level of expertise so they can hire you as a coach or purchase your products online? Have you given your prospects enough information to decide that they know, like and trust you?

I would love to read your feedback on this.

* Is there something that s really working for you in attracting your ideal prospect and client?

* How often is too often to post?

* How often is too often to send your clients an email?

* Have you tested your own marketplace to see what amount of content and contact equals an increase (or decrease) in sales or new clients?

Coaches And Consultants For Joint Ventures

Coaches And Consultants For Joint Ventures
Many Coaches and Consultants experience the "feast or famine, chicken or feathers" ups and downs in income - they're either out there selling, or they're delivering. This results in a yo-yo income. They have to deal with busy times and quiet times and increasing competition, and, because they're selling time, they have limited income earning capacity. Many clients regard the consulting or coaching service as a luxury that can be terminated as soon as cash flows get tight. In addition, the popular perception of coaches and consultants leaves a lot to be desired, which is quite understandable, given the fact that many who use this label are about as valuable as a rotten peach on a busy sidewalk.

How do I know this? I was a consultant for eighteen years. And I?ve specialized in Joint Ventures for small and medium businesses for nineteen years. The solution to increasing your coaching or consulting business as well as income from other sources, while at the same time differentiating yourself from the herd, is Joint Ventures. It's a great fit and a great complement to any coach or consultant's business. Use your insight and communication skills to create lucrative JV's. Have the money and the time to enjoy it, as well as the luxury not to rely on your income from consulting or coaching. This is exactly what I did. I no longer sell my time as a consultant, but this information has worked for me for eighteen years and it will work for you.

First, understand that you do not have a 100% profit margin, which you do have from Joint Ventures. Second, know that you cannot possibly be all things to all men. Third is the hardest ? getting rid of that giant ego. I think ego is the enemy of coaches and consultants. Business is not about sales or being well known ? it?s about bottom line, after tax PROFIT. You have the ability to cut through the BS and guide and direct people. You can gain their trust. You are a good communicator and you have an understanding of business and human nature. These are very powerful skills and tools in the hands of a Joint Venture Broker.

If my doctor called me last week and informed me that he had a great deal on heart bypasses, I would get worried. Instead, he examines me and points me in the direction of a solution or relief. That?s real business. ?Find a need and meet it.? In a room of 20 ?Business Networking? people, not everyone wants a coach. But they all have needs, hopes and dreams. If you?re there to make money by helping people, why not simply link these people, be they clients or prospects, with the solution to their needs and get paid for it? When they want a new car, why try to sell them coaching, instead of introducing them to a good realtor and getting paid 20 ? 50% of her commission? Easy money, no time, no risk, 100% margin. Think about it.

CNA Healthcare

CNA Healthcare
CNA and healthcare are two terms that are inseparable. Healthcare is incomplete without CNA. A Certified Nursing Assistant, is regarded as the most important connection between a patient and a doctor or a nurse because, they are the ones who work under the guidance of licensed nurses or registered nurses and provide assistance to the disabled and elderly patients by helping them in their daily activities such as dressing up, taking bath, toileting, etc. They are also responsible for replacing the dressing on the wounds, helping with the medication, taking vital stats, etc. They even take the responsibility of helping patients with their walk, assisting the patients in moving from beds to chairs. CNA is also responsible for assisting the patients with activities related to personal hygiene, such as shaving beards, brushing teeth, brushing hair and soaking dentures, etc.

A CNA is probably the person who first notices any vital changes in a patient and duly informs the doctor or patient, when required. Hence, they are usually considered as the ears and eyes of a nurse or a doctor. They are also referred to as nursing aides.

Though the job of a CNA looks simple, in reality, it is a demanding job, one that requires a nursing aide to be responsible, friendly, pleasant, easy to approach and trustworthy. A CNA needs to be physically fit, as they will be working with patient and might have to lift them, when required. The more patient and friendly a CNA is, the more is the ease, with which they can render their services to any age group patient, right from a child to an elderly person.

To take up a career as a CNA, you need to undergo a training program and have to clear a skills test sponsored by the respective states. Most of the nursing aides consider CNA to be the first step towards a secure career in healthcare.

Once you start your career as a CNA and continue your education, in about an year, you can try to become a LPN (licensed practical nurse) or if you are willing to take up higher level education, in three or four years, you can become a registered nurse. On an average, a CNA can earn up to $27,418 annually.

Similar to the current shortage in qualified nurses, there is expected to be a huge shortage of CNAs in the near future, owing to the growing population and the increasing number of people in the older age group.

A CNA can find employment in healthcare facilities, hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and at times even in a patient s home. Irrespective of the location of employment, the responsibilities and duties of a nursing aide are usually the same. There is a growing need for qualified CNAs since it is an integral and important part of the healthcare. Though CNA is probably the lowest level in healthcare pyramid, it is the basic building block, without which the pyramid might not have a solid foundation. CNA and healthcare are intertwined, you can never separate them!!

Coach Training Course 5 Steps To Create Information Products, Promote Coaching Message amp Profit
You have all the tools available to succeed as a life coach if you take action. Step One Decide who you are directing your message to. This will make a big difference on how you create and deliver the content of your product. The more specific you can be the better. Ideally you should be able to picture your ideal client as a single person sitting across the table from you as you delivery your message. You will have much more impact by envisioning a single client or very small select group than if you address you message to a generalized audience of everybody even if it s every parent or every business person .

CNA Salary ? Not The Most Rewarding But The Most Enjoying

CNA Salary ? Not The Most Rewarding But The Most Enjoying
There are many careers that we all aspire to reach for; which change as we grow older and our circumstances change. We are motivated by a lot of things when choosing a career. It could be the perks or the passion that motivate you to reach for any career. Choosing a career out of passion brings about the most satisfaction.

The passion for people and taking care of their needs is the main motivation for those that choose nursing and many socially oriented kind of careers. Certified nursing assistants are in demand all over the United States; in hospitals and nursing homes. These skilled people are fewer than the jobs that are available for them and this has brought about free CNA training. To me, this kind of training and job is a stepping stone on your way to a better career, probably as a nurse of even a doctor. Although the CNA salary is not that much, it is a starting point to the medical field. It is popular among those that have qualified to get into the medical field but lack the financial means to go to college. CNA salary will range from 9 to 12 dollars per hour depending on your qualifications and experience, which increase as you get more experienced in the job you are doing. This can translate to more than $30000 per year if the job is permanent. There are many hospitals in the United States that offer free training for their CNA staff as there are few people who are skilled enough to do the kind of job that nursing assistants can do.

Granted, there will always be a great demand for CNA jobs in the USA and if you don?t get the nursing job that you wanted you can get into the free training programs offered by hospitals. Here is one thing you should know: a good number of nurses started of as certified nursing assistants. Don?t get worried about your qualifications; if you qualify for a nursing career, you qualify to get into the CNA job. From here, you can increase your training and become the nurse you have always wanted to be.

The CNA salary is less than a qualified nurse?s job; however it is a great place to start off a career that could take you as far as you want to go in the medical field. The job of a certified nursing assistant includes taking care of the patient?s personal needs while the nurses and the doctors take care of the patients? medical needs. They change their clothes, wash them, and help them to go to the bathroom, and feeding them among others. The CNA salary is dependent on the kind of living costs in the city that you are working in. If the cost of living in the state and city you are living in are high, then you will get more money and even more if you have good experience. Being a CNA is motivated by the passion to help others more than the need to have a job.
