How often do we hear people that ve careers complain about never doing the occupation theyre trained to do? They didn t realize when they entered into their chosen field that there will be various aspects to the job.

The same premise applies with the computer game artist. The setting you are going to place your characters in is almost as essential as the characters themselves. Youre setting the atmosphere, which in turn sets the theme.

You many decide that you wish to specialize in 2D or 3D animation, which s fantastic. It implies you re going to have to find out the levels of the different games and edit them as necessary. You might even have the responsibility of that of the texturing artist.
